Arizona offers the lowest flat tax rate in the nation at 2.5% and a relatively low 4.9% corporate income tax rate. There is no corporate franchise tax, worldwide unitary tax, sales tax on manufacturing equipment or inventory tax. The Accredited Economic Development Organization (AEDO) Program recognizes the professional excellence of economic development organizations (EDOS) through the International Economic Development Council. The AEDO Program provides EDOs with independent feedback on their operations, structure and procedures. SRP is one of only three utilities to have earned AEDO status.
